Conor McGregor wasted no time turning the UFC 329 face-off into another viral moment.
The Irishman got in Max Holloway’s face after the press conference, ripped off his glasses as they came together, and forced Dana White to step in before the staredown could escalate further.
McGregor and Holloway headline UFC 329 on July 11 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, more than a decade after McGregor defeated ‘Blessed’ by unanimous decision in their first meeting in 2013.
In the clip, McGregor quickly moved toward the centre of the stage as Holloway stepped forward. As soon as the two got close, ‘The Notorious’ knocked Holloway’s glasses off, stayed in his face, and then slapped the Hawaiian’s wrist when he offered a handshake.
White then intervened and separated both fighters before the moment could turn into anything more serious.

The 37-year-old said:
