UFC 329 Bonus Winners: King Green, Paddy Pimblett and Brandon Royval Deliver on International Fight Week’s Biggest Night

UFC 329 Bonus Winners

UFC 329 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on July 11 gave fans plenty of moments to celebrate across the card, even if the main event ended in the most heartbreaking fashion possible with McGregor suffering a lateral meniscus tear or a potential ACL tear that brought the night to a premature and deflating conclusion.

The undercard and co-main event more than delivered, and three performances stood out enough to earn extra bonuses on the biggest fight week of the year.

UFC 329 Performance of the Night: King Green

King Green produced one of the wildest finishes of the night against Terrance McKinney, stopping him in the final second of the opening round after McKinney had controlled much of the early action. Green stayed composed under pressure, attacked the body, and unloaded a finishing flurry that forced the stoppage just before the horn. Four straight wins now for the veteran, who continues to prove he belongs.

UFC 329 Performance of the Night: Paddy “The Baddy” Pimblett

Paddy Pimblett made the biggest statement of his UFC career in the co-main event, putting Benoit Saint Denis to sleep with a first-round D’Arce choke in under a minute. Saint Denis looked for an early takedown, and Pimblett immediately turned it into a submission finish.

The lightweight contender has now put himself directly in line for a major opportunity, and the performance silenced a significant portion of his doubters overnight.

UFC 329: Fight of the Night: Brandon Royval vs Lone’er Kavanagh

Brandon Royval and Lone’er Kavanagh kept the crowd fully invested across three entertaining flyweight rounds before Royval secured a rear-naked choke finish late in the fight. Fast-paced, back-and-forth, and exactly what the division consistently delivers.

The only disappointment on the entire card was the one fight everyone came to see. Conor McGregor versus Max Holloway 2 deserved a proper ending, and the injury ensured it never got one.
