Justin Gaethje got a wake-up call about internet fame after checking his direct messages for what he says was the first time, discovering an inbox full of unsolicited nude content from fans.
“YOOO that’s crazy, I saw fingers disappear! That’s someone’s daughter!” Gaethje said to Andrew Schulz, reacting to just how explicit some of the messages were.
Justin Gaethje Still Undecided on Title Defense or Retirement
The comments came during a wider conversation about where Justin Gaethje’s head is at following his win over Ilia Topuria at UFC Freedom 250. The champion admitted he still hasn’t made up his mind about whether he’ll defend the lightweight title again or step away from the sport entirely, saying for now he just wants to enjoy holding the belt while his hand and knee injuries fully heal, rather than rushing into a decision about his future.

Justin Gaethje Mocks Ilia Topuria’s Grammar in Glove Allegation Tweet
Justin Gaethje also used the appearance to take another shot at Ilia Topuria, this time over the wording of his recent glove-tampering accusation. Referencing Topuria’s post about wanting officials to check his gloves so he doesn’t put anything “weird on them,” Gaethje couldn’t resist poking fun at the phrasing.
“So I sh*t on my gloves and it caused immediate bacteria? The weirdest word in that is ‘on.’ So I sh*t on my gloves, and it caused immediate bacteria? Like, what are you saying?” Gaethje said.
The jab is the latest in an ongoing back-and-forth between the two since Topuria’s comeback announcement, which included the glove allegation as well as a separate profane message aimed at both Gaethje and manager Ali Abdelaziz. Gaethje has already dismissed the accusation once before as a “lame excuse,” and this latest comment continues that same dismissive, mocking tone rather than treating the claim as a serious grievance.
