Newly crowned UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethje visited President Donald Trump at the Oval Office following his win over Ilia Topuria at UFC Freedom 250.
Gaethje defeated Topuria in the White House headliner two weeks ago to become the undisputed lightweight champion. The result also ended Topuria’s unbeaten 17-fight professional MMA streak and handed ‘El Matador’ the first loss of his career.

‘The Highlight‘ was joined by his parents during the Oval Office visit, with Trump praising the fight and the newly crowned champion. Trump stated:
“It was one of the highest rated fights in the history of television, and what a fight it was. Honor to see the champ. He beat another truly great fighter who had never lost before.”

Justin Gaethje Enjoys Major Spotlight After Beating Ilia Topuria
Justin Gaethje’s win at UFC Freedom 250 was the biggest victory of his career. He hurt Topuria early, caused significant damage to both eyes, and continued to punish the former two-weight champion as the fight progressed.
By the end of Round 4, Topuria was unable to continue, forcing his corner to wave off the bout. The victory crowned Gaethje as the undisputed lightweight champion for the first time in his UFC career.
The Oval Office visit adds another major moment to Gaethje’s title-winning run. With Topuria now recovering from serious facial injuries and serving a six-month medical suspension, Gaethje will wait to see who emerges as his first title challenger.
Potential names such as Charles Oliveira, Arman Tsarukyan, and even a future Topuria rematch could all enter the conversation. For now, Gaethje is enjoying the biggest achievement of his fighting career.
