Conor McGregor’s confidence heading into UFC 329 has moved well past the point of standard fight week bulletin board material.
The Irishman is now talking about Max Holloway with a level of dismissiveness that suggests he does not view this as a competitive fight at all, and he made sure to leave no category unaddressed when explaining exactly why.

A “Touch” Is All It Will Take for Conor McGregor to put Max Holloway to sleep at UFC 329
Comor McGregor has stated that his path to victory at UFC 329 will be straightforward to the point of simplicity. He says he will just “touch” Holloway to win and is predicting a spectacular victory when it happens. For a man returning from a five-year layoff against one of the most active and decorated fighters in the sport, that level of certainty is either the mark of supreme preparation or the kind of confidence that only the former double champ can genuinely sustain heading into a fight of this magnitude. He said:
“It’s going to be a demolition. It’s going to be an absolute demolition. I know the damage he has taken. I know I just have to touch him. And after that, it will be clinical. To win alone is not enough. It has to be spectacular, and it will be.”
Conor McGregor Leaves Absolutely Nothing Out
Then came the list. Conor McGregor did not just say he was better than ‘Blessed’ in a general sense. He went category by category and left nothing on the table.
“Max Holloway is not on my level. Skill-wise, mental-wise, physical-wise, speed, power, IQ, fitness, health, freshness, eagerness.”
