No. 1-ranked UFC lightweight contender Arman Tsarukyan has decided to give away the truck he purchased as a gift for newly crowned lightweight champion Justin Gaethje.
Gaethje defeated Ilia Topuria via technical knockout in the UFC Freedom 250 headliner at the White House to capture the 155-pound belt. Before the bout, Tsarukyan placed a large bet on Gaethje to emerge victorious despite him being a sizeable underdog. He also stated that he would gift a truck to ‘The Highlight’ if he won his bet.

However, Gaethje refused to accept the gift, which infuriated Tsarukyan, who had already purchased the truck. Speaking about the situation, the Armenian said:
“If you don’t want it, fu*k you. I’m gonna give it to my followers. And I’m gonna f*ck him up in the fight.”
Tsarukyan’s comments came in response to Gaethje, who stated during a sit-down with Joe Rogan that he had no interest in accepting the Armenian’s gift. The 37-year-old said:
“I’m not taking this truck from f*cking Arman. No way. I’m gonna have to ride around in a f*cking truck that a dude bought for me.”

With Ilia Topuria likely ruled out for a considerable part of the remainder of the year after sustaining serious damage against Justin Gaethje, a potential bout between ‘The Highlight’ and Arman Tsarukyan could come to fruition.
Tsarukyan is long overdue for a title shot after withdrawing from his scheduled championship bout against Islam Makhachev at UFC 294.
