The UFC has officially confirmed the full fight card for UFC 334, and the promotion’s return to New York City comes stacked with two massive title fights.
Ciryl Gane Defends Heavyweight Title Against Josh Hokit in the Main Event
New UFC heavyweight champion Ciryl Gane puts his title on the line for the first time in the main event, taking on undefeated contender Josh Hokit. Hokit has won three of his first four UFC fights by knockout, making this his first crack at UFC gold against a champion who’s still working through the fallout of the Tom Aspinall eye poke controversy that ultimately opened the door to his title.
Kayla Harrison Returns From Injury to Face Amanda Nunes in the Co-Main Event of UFC 334
UFC Women’s bantamweight champion Kayla Harrison returns to the Octagon after a lengthy absence due to a neck injury, and she’s coming back to face one of the biggest names in the sport’s history. Amanda Nunes, the former two-division champion who had previously retired in June 2023, steps back into competition for this matchup, giving fight fans a title fight loaded with storylines on both sides of the cage.
A Retirement Fight and a Loaded Undercard
Elsewhere on the card, welterweight Stephen Thompson will compete for the final time in the UFC when he takes on Charles Radtke, closing out his career in what’s being billed as his retirement fight. The rest of the main card features Caio Borralho against Yousri Belgaroui, Uros Medic taking on Kevin Holland, and Bilal Hasan facing Luis Gurule.
